Happy What Day?!

Happy Match Day!

That's right.  Happy Match Day!  I know that it is St. Patrick's day too, but this year, dear ol' St. Patty has to share his day with Match Day.  If you're not familiar with Match Day, you must not know many med students, because to a med student, today is a BIG day.  Maybe even bigger than graduation.  Today is the day that all across the country, 4th year med students find out where they will be spending their residency.  It happens every year, the third Thursday of March. 

I happen to have a good friend whose husband's (and hers too!) fate is determined today. 

She asked for cookies to celebrate the occasion.

And I was happy to oblige!

So, to Richard and all the other med students out there -

Luck o' the Irish to ya!

A Jar Full of Cookies

I just realized that I never posted Julianne Rose's first set of cookies.  (I can be a bit of a space cadet every once and awhile, if you haven't noticed.) 

And I was really excited about these, because all the doodles were new doodles!

The same day, I did "Thinking of You" cookies in red and black.  (A dawg fan, of course.)

Both jars went to work with Bonnie. 

So, no matter the occassion, think cookies!!

Cute Cookie Crosses

I had the pleasure of doing cookies for Julianne, again!  I made some for her mom and dad when she was born not to long ago, and now I got to make some for her baptism. 

I was excited because I've never done crosses before!

With a middle name of Rose, I had to draw a few on the crosses.

So sweet!  I hope they enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed making them!
